In this series, the instant messaging platform has introduced four new calling features for its users. The company has said that every day more than 2 billion calls are made on WhatsApp.
Option to select participants on call
These new features have been added to the mobile and desktop versions of the instant messenger on Meta platforms ahead of the winter holidays. These features will especially improve the video and voice calling experience. Under the new WhatsApp Group Calling feature, users will now get the option to choose participants on the call. Earlier, on a group call, everyone would be called simultaneously, but now you can choose who to call, so that others will not be disturbed.
10 new effects for Instagram
Apart from this, 10 new effects have been given on WhatsApp Call, which will bring variety in calling. These effects were first available on Instagram and have now been added to WhatsApp as well. A new calling tab will also be available for WhatsApp desktop users, which will make it easier to create dialers and call links. Also, the quality of video calls has also been improved and now you will be able to make calls in 1:1 ratio.
