Prithvi Shaw: Mumbai batsman Prithvi Shaw is constantly in the news. When he was not included in the Mumbai team for the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Shaw expressed his disappointment by posting on social media. On which the Mumbai Cricket Association official had accused him of being indisciplined. Now Prithvi has again vented his anger by posting a post on social media.
There was pain at not being included in the team
Prithvi Shaw’s cricket career ended very fast. He was considered as Sachin’s replacement in the Indian team. But due to his behavior he was dropped from Team India and now he was also dropped from Mumbai team. Prithvi had also posted on Instagram about not being selected in the Mumbai team for Vijay Hazare Trophy. He had said, “Oh God, tell me. What else do I want to see? 3399 runs from 65 innings, average of 55.7 and strike rate of 126, I am not good! But I will keep my trust in you and hope that people will also trust me. I will definitely come back. Om Sai Ram.”
Prithvi Shaw accused of indiscipline
On this post of Prithvi Shaw, the MCA official had said that ‘Prithvi is his own enemy’. He remains missing from the hotel room overnight and returns at 6 in the morning. They do not even participate in training sessions. Even during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he was continuously indisciplined. He said that we were playing with 10 players in the tournament. Prithvi does not pay attention to his fitness. The ball passes him and he is unable to do anything, even while batting he can barely reach the ball. We cannot make different rules for different players. If they want to express something by posting on social media, there will be no impact on MCA.
Prithvi Shaw’s performance in the recent Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament was disappointing. However, his team Mumbai won the title by defeating Madhya Pradesh in the final last Sunday. But Shaw completely failed in batting. He could not even score more than 200 runs in nine innings. His average was less than 25 and he was seen struggling while facing the new ball.
