He made his List-A cricket debut for Bihar against Madhya Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. He is making one record after another, because before this he has become the youngest player to play in Ranji Trophy and then for the India Under-19 team.

At the age of 13 years and 269 days, Vaibhav Suryavanshi played his first List-A match for Bihar. With this, he became the youngest player to play List-A cricket, leaving Ali Akbar behind. Ali Akbar created history by making his List-A debut for Vidarbha in 1999–2000 at the age of 14 years and 51 days.

However, Vaibhav Suryavanshi disappointed in his debut match in Vijay Hazare Trophy and he was out after scoring only 4 runs in 2 balls. In the Group-E match of Hyderabad, against Madhya Pradesh, Bihar team could not even play the full 50 overs and got bundled out for only 196 runs in 46.4 overs. Avesh Khan of Madhya Pradesh took 3 wickets in this match.

Madhya Pradesh easily achieved the target of 197 runs by losing 4 wickets in 25.1 overs. For Madhya Pradesh, captain Rajat Patidar contributed 55 runs in 33 balls and wicketkeeper batsman Harsh Gawli contributed 83 runs in 63 balls with 11 fours and 1 six.

Vaibhav is the youngest millionaire player in IPL history

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.10 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. With this he became the youngest millionaire player in IPL history. However, the player is more excited about the possibility of becoming the youngest player in IPL 2025 and playing for Rajasthan Royals under the direction of Rahul Dravid.
