The last installment of Ladki Behna Yojana was deposited in the month of October. Then the payment for both the months of October and November was made together. In fact, due to the implementation of the code of conduct due to Maharashtra elections, the Eknath Shinde led coalition government had decided to make advance payment of the November installment.

However, now that Maharashtra elections have been completed and the Mahayuti government has returned to power with a huge majority, eligible women are now waiting for the December installment to be deposited in the bank.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis gave important information regarding the Ladki Bahin Yojana (Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana) in the winter session of the Maharashtra Assembly. On December 19, Fadnavis had said that the promises made to the state’s farmers, youth, senior citizens and deprived sections would be fulfilled. The ongoing schemes of the government will not be allowed to be stopped. After the winter session is over, the beloved sisters of the state will be given their next installment.

Since the winter session has ended on 21st December. In such a situation, now the December installment of Ladli Behna Yojana (Ladki Baheen Yojana) will be deposited in the bank accounts of the beneficiary women at any time. At present, no official announcement has been made by the state government regarding the date and time.

According to the news, after the end of the code of conduct, the investigation of pending applications of Ladki Bahin Scheme has been started again. The last date of application for Ladki Bahin Yojana was 15 October. Till this date lakhs of new applications were filed. Meanwhile, the Election Commission announced the date of Maharashtra Assembly elections and a large number of applications could not be scrutinized due to the implementation of the code of conduct in the state.

Let us tell you that the women of Maharashtra whose annual family income is less than Rs 2.5 lakh are getting Rs 1,500 every month as financial assistance from July 1, 2024 under the Ladli Brahmin Yojana (Ladki Baheen Yojana). More than 2.5 crore women of the state have benefited from this.
