IND vs AUS 3rd Test: Where history was created, Team India collapsed, now India will have to do this to save the Gabba Test. IND vs AUS Gabba Test Day 3 highlights India in danger have to save follow on Australia need 16 wickets to win Brisbane test

India will have to score 246 runs to save follow on.

India is still 394 runs behind Australia and will need to score at least 246 runs to save the follow-on. At present, opener KL Rahul 33 and captain Rohit Sharma are standing at the crease without scoring any runs. In such a situation, it is almost impossible for India to win this test match. In such a situation, let us know what India will have to do to save the GABA test?

Rain is supporting the Indian team

On the one hand, Australian bowlers wreaked havoc and pushed India on the back foot in Gabba. On the other hand, rain is fully supporting Team India. Due to rain, almost two days of this test have been lost and now only 2 more days of matches are left. Approximately 196 more overs will be bowled in these two days and India still has 16 wickets including 10 wickets in the second innings. If India does not allow these 16 wickets to fall in the next two days, then this Test will be drawn and India will remain in the race for the final of the WTC.

If India saves the follow on then the match will be drawn!

But to do this, Team India will first have to save the follow on. Indian team still needs 195 runs to save the follow on. In such a situation, Team India will have to cross the score of at least 246 with the help of the remaining six wickets. If he does this, Australia will have to bat in the second innings and it will be easier to draw the match.

If follow on is not saved then you will lose by one innings.

But if India gets all out before the score of 246 runs, then Australia will force them to follow on. In this situation, India will have to bat with the remaining 10 wickets till the end of the fifth day. If he is not able to do this then he can lose this test even by an innings.

2 days of play left and 16 wickets in hand

The biggest matter of concern for the Indian team is that in the Adelaide Test, Team India was able to play only 81 overs in both the innings and lost all 10 wickets. In such a situation, it will be very difficult for them to save 16 wickets for 196 overs. However, rain is expected for the next two days in this test match. In such a situation, if India saves the follow on, then there is a high possibility of the match being a draw.
