Thursday was a very special day for Greater Noida. For the first time, a 24-member government delegation from Austria reached Greater Noida. Amid investment expectations in Uttar Pradesh, officials of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority and Invest UP gave a presentation before the delegation on the available resources and government policies. The delegation expressed desire to invest in tourism, startups, skill development, research, drones and technology. Rajya Sabha MP Mithilesh Kumar Katheria was also present as the chief guest.
A 24-member government delegation led by Manfred Plager, Vice President of the Austrian Tyrol Economic Chamber, has come to India on a three-day visit. This delegation has come to India to explore investment opportunities for Austrian investors in the fields of tourism, startup, skill development, research, drones and technology etc. After visiting Bengaluru, the delegation reached Greater Noida on Thursday. The meeting with the delegation was held at Jaypee Resort, Greater Noida. Officials of the Austrian Embassy also participated in this meeting. On behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government, officials of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority and Invest UP held a meeting with the delegation.
Appreciated the infra of Noida, Greno, YIDA, enjoyed Indian cuisine.
Under the chairmanship of Rajya Sabha MP Mithilesh Kumar Katheria, Greater Noida Authority CEO NG Ravi Kumar, ACEO Soumya Srivastava, ACEO Prerna Singh, YIDA’s ACEO Shruti and OSD Shailendra Bhatia, Noida’s ACEO Sanjay Khatri, Anirudh Kshatriya from Invest UP, Preeti from UP Tourism. Srivastava, DP Singh from ASSOCHAM UP and other officials participated. In this, officials of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority and Invest UP gave their presentation one by one. NG Ravi Kumar, CEO of Greater Noida Authority, said in the presentation that Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state of India.
The delegation expressed desire for joint investment and mutual cooperation in UP.
There are immense possibilities here in the fields of agriculture, education, start up, technology, tourism etc. The CEO underlined the possibilities of tourism in Mathura, Kashi and Ayodhya. The CEO focused more on the infrastructure of Greater Noida. The blueprint of all the expressways related to Greater Noida, Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Data Centre, Knowledge Hub and Master Plan 2041 of Greater Noida etc. was drawn before the delegation. The delegation was very happy with all these presentations.
Rajya Sabha MP Mithilesh Kumar Katheria in his address focused on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India. He praised the working system of the state government and Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna authorities. The delegation appreciated the infrastructure here and expressed their desire to work through investment, mutual cooperation and joint ventures in the areas of tourism, startup, skill development, research, drones, technology etc. The delegation praised the Indian cuisine during lunch. This program was conducted by ACEO Prerna Singh and concluded by ACEO Soumya Srivastava. GM Planning Leenu Sehgal, OSD Naveen Kumar Singh and other officers were present in the program.
