“Deadly Tesla Cybertruck Explosion Rocks Trump International Hotel Las Vegas”

On January 1, 2025, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, resulting in one fatality and seven injuries. The vehicle, rented through the Turo app, was reportedly loaded with fireworks and gas canisters, which are believed to have caused the explosion.

Authorities, including the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and the FBI, are investigating the incident as a potential act of terrorism. The driver, who perished in the explosion, has not been publicly identified. Investigators are working to determine whether the driver was the individual who rented the vehicle.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that the explosion was due to the fireworks or bomb in the truck bed, not the vehicle itself.

This incident follows a separate attack in New Orleans, where a truck was driven into a crowd, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries. Both vehicles involved in these incidents were rented through the Turo app, but authorities have not established a direct connection between the two events.

The Trump Organization expressed gratitude to first responders for their swift action. Eric Trump, son of President-elect Donald Trump, acknowledged the incident on social media, thanking authorities for their prompt response.

As investigations continue, authorities urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to law enforcement agencies.
