The Education Minister said that Geeta Contest is a commendable effort to connect students with Indian culture and values.
Free events in schools
Geeta Contest 2024-25, started on the occasion of Geeta Jayanti, will be organized free of cost in all the schools of Rajasthan. Through this competition, students will be made aware of the knowledge of Geeta and the values of Indian culture. The objective of launching the digital platform is to provide all the information and digital course material related to the competition to the students, teachers, and parents.
Examination will be held at two levels
President Amitadas said that the Level 1 online examination will be held from 16 to 22 January 2025 and the Level 2 examination for selected students will be held on 1 February 2025. After this, the awards ceremony will be held in Jaipur on 9 February 2025. In this, cash prizes and appreciation certificates will be given at the state and district level. State level first prize will be Rs 11,000, second prize Rs 5100, third prize Rs 2100 and 7 students will be given a consolation prize of Rs 1100.

Study material based on chapters of Geeta and Vedic literature is available in both Hindi and English languages for students of class 7 to 12.
