Young opener Nathan McSweeney is in shock after being dropped from the Australian team. This 25 year old batsman accepted this in an interview given to Channel 7 on Saturday. However, he also promised to work hard and make a place in the team again.
25 year old McSweeney said- “Yes, I am broken. My dream of playing for Australia came true, but not in the way I wanted. This happens in sports. I will work hard and prepare myself for the next opportunity.”
McSweeney was dropped from the Australian team a day earlier. In his place, 19-year-old opener Sam Konstas was included in the team for the first time.
