Exam Dates and Registration
Session 1 Dates: NTA Announces that The first session of JEE Main 2025 will be held on 22, 23, 24, 28 29 January 2025 for BE/B.Tech and on 30 january 2025 for B.Arch . Examination will be conducted in two shifts (09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon & 03:00PM to 06:00 PM ) across various cities of india and 15 cities outside of india.
Registration Window: The registration for Session 1 commenced on October 28 and concluded on November 22, 2024. The application window for Session 2 will open on January 31, 2025.
Exam City Intimation Slip and Admit Card
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the exam city intimation slips soon. Candidates can download these slips from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The admit cards will be available for download in January 2025.
Changes in Exam Pattern and Structure
Removal of Optional Questions: NTA has eliminated optional questions in Section B. Candidates are now required to attempt all numerical value questions, marking a return to the pre-2021 exam pattern.
Negative Marking for Numerical Value Questions: Negative marking has been introduced for numerical value questions. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response, aligning with the marking scheme for multiple-choice questions.
Elimination of Age Limit: The age criterion has been removed. Candidates meeting the educational qualifications, irrespective of age, are now eligible to apply.

As of the latest data, over 13.8 lakh students have registered for the first session of JEE Main 2025, indicating a significant increase compared to the previous year.
