Patna Police lathicharged BPSC candidates, did not spare even female students…

BPSC Students Protest: The incident of lathi charge on BPSC candidates by Patna Police has created a stir. The students who came to surround the office were beaten badly by the police and they were chased and beaten with sticks. This incident occurred due to the controversy arising out of the 70th Combined Examination, in which the candidates were demanding cancellation of the examination. The struggle of these candidates, who have been on strike in Patna’s Gardanibagh for the last one week, has now become more intense, and many politicians have also supported them in this protest.

After alleged paper leak and other uproar in the 70th combined examination of BPSC, the examination of some centers was canceled. Now it has been decided to conduct the examination again on January 4, but some candidates are adamant on the demand of canceling the entire examination. These students, who were fasting unto death for the last 8 days in Gardnibagh, surrounded the BPSC office on Wednesday, after which The police lathicharged and many candidates were injured. Women candidates were also not spared in the incident and they were also lathicharged.
