Weather Today: Heavy snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, White Christmas in Shimla-Manali, 4 dead

Weather Today: There has been heavy snowfall in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir since this morning, due to which a huge drop in temperature has been recorded and the entire area has been covered with a white sheet of snow. Especially in Shimla and Manali, the situation is as if people are enjoying a white Christmas. The temperature has gone below zero. The reason for the problem is that more than 200 roads in Himachal Pradesh have been closed due to snowfall and tourists are stuck in many areas.

Four died due to vehicle slipping

The tourists who came to see the snowfall in Himachal Pradesh are enjoying the view, but four people have died due to the incident of vehicle slipping. The weather department had already informed about snowfall in these areas. The Meteorological Department has advised not to drive during snowfall.

Dense fog in Delhi, visibility 100 meters

A lot of fog was seen in Delhi this morning and the temperature was recorded at 9 degrees. Visibility remained very low due to which driving is becoming inconvenient. According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, the visibility in Delhi was 100 meters at 5:30 am. The entire Delhi is covered with a blanket of dense fog, while the air quality condition was very poor, due to which common people were facing problems in breathing outside the house. More than 20 trains are running late due to dense fog.

cold wave alert

After the snowfall, there will be a cold wave in North India, about which the Meteorological Department has issued an alert. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a cold wave in Himachal Pradesh on 25th and 26th December, which will affect the entire North India and normal life will be affected due to the cold wave. In view of the increasing cold, there is a possibility of increase in seasonal diseases due to which it is advised to take special precautions, so that children and elderly people do not face problems.
